The Chapter Book

A couple of my friends made a series of edits two winters ago following their travels from Maine and Mass out to Utah, with the sole purpose of enjoying snowboarding and having as much fun as possible. Each new edit was a new chapter in their story, and this summer they put them all together, collectively The Chapter Book. Watch the entire story here.
These Days (online) Premiere

I tuned in last night with the rest of America to catch a glimpse of These Days. The UVM Snowboard Team held our first general meeting of the year, and what better way to start a snowboard meeting than with a snowboard movie? This was our logic. It worked out on paper. Waiting for the movie to start we amused ourselves at the high speed hate moving across the live chat.
After a long battle deciding whether to wait out the technical glitches or start our meeting, the meeting began. We returned afterwards to see the final shot of Nick Dirks’ opener, which was insane. Even through the fuzz I was amazed at the level of riding and production. My UVMST counterparts and I were psyched on These Days, which I’ll affectionately dub the “Digi Barf” heard ’round the world. Kudos, Joe.
A mellow Sunday cruise

So I just finished a drive across the ol’ US of A, probably one of the longest routes you can squeeze in within our bounds. I’m not even home yet, taking refuge in the down east region of Vacationland through the weekend.
How is this shred related? Here is the scene in Colorado right now off I-70:
Most people are still filling their time with summer activities like skateboarding, surfing, fixed gear biking, or hanging out at the local internet forum. But soon enough, we’ll all be taking part in our favorite winter past time.
Afterlame, paL.

Afterlame is one of my favorite all time videos, and this is one of my favorite parts from it.
When I watched Afterlame for the first time, I didn’t know what to think of the whole
‘no parts’ format. The more I watched it, and I watched it a lot, the more I came to like it.
This one’s all time, for sure. Charlie Morace is the man.
